Most Liked

The brisket garners rave reviews for its tenderness and juicy flavor. Diners often mention how it rivals some of the best in the region. The Saturday-only Texas Twinkies offer a delightful surprise, combining brisket, pimento cheese, and cream cheese, all wrapped in bacon. Breakfast options like the plate-sized pancakes and homemade sausage gravy bring a comforting start to the day.

Customers appreciate the friendly service and the genuine, down-home feel of the restaurant. The ability to watch the food being prepared adds to the homely charm. Potter about as you enjoy a meal surrounded by community members and fellow customers.

Riley's ChiCorkfish shines at satisfying cravings for BBQ, breakfast, or a quick bite, all wrapped in a cosy atmosphere.

Most Disliked

Some visitors express frustration over the limited seating, especially during peak hours. The popularity of lunch often leads to crowded conditions, making it a challenge to find space. While the homey vibe is appreciated, some wish for more expansive dining options.

On particularly busy days, service can feel rushed during the lunch rush, with patrons occasionally waiting longer than desired for their food. However, this speaks to the restaurant's growing popularity rather than a lack of efficiency.

Choices can also be overwhelming for newcomers; with so many delicious options available, making a decision might take longer than expected. Ensuring diners know the special offerings ahead of time could alleviate any confusion.

For anyone traveling this is a perfect little spot to stop in for breakfast as well as lunch/dinner. Got all the staples, freshly made sausage gravy, plate sized pancakes, French toast, omelettes etc for breakfast til 11 and that’s when the magic happens. At 11 they serve some of the best smoked meats in northern Va. They have pulled pork that has no fat or gristle amazing flavor, as well as some of the biggest ribs I’ve ever seen. Don’t even get me started on that brisket, it is to die for! So tender juicy and delicious. On Saturdays ONLY they do a Texas Twinkie where they stuff brisket, house made pimento cheese, cream cheese then wrap it in bacon before putting it on the smoker. I cannot rave enough about this place.

We couldn’t believe this inconspicuous place inside an Exxon pump turned out to be one of the best BBQ places in Virginia and we have tried a few. The brisket is moist snd incredibly flavorful, the bbq chicken was outrageously good one of the best. Sides were a goos size with the platters. I enjoyed the cole slaw and the mac and cheese. The owners/ staff were fantastic and happy to share lots of information without pushing anything on us. Food served without any delay. The menu has lots of options beef, pork, chicken. And great options for vegetarian in your party! Mushroom, grilled cheese. We didn’t try the burgers but gonna be back for that snd the Bama fries! 10 star on food quality, service and price.

Your not going to find a better place. The owners are very nice and down home country folk. The food is absolutely amazing. The sandwiches are unique and good size. Everything is home made and made to order. They make all the sides and sauces right there. They had peach pie and let me tell ya, you better get a slice.

I believe riley was the person behind the counter and I think her mom and dad were working the grill and back. This family touch is evident in everything. While i was there i observed riley i would assume talking with a middle eastern couple assuring them that their chicken and beef never touched pork . While the pork was amazing , the personality of this place is was makes it top tier. The Homemade everything was fantastic for the reasonable price. I wish I went on a day with pie

I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was fresh and delicious, the staff work hard to make fresh and skilled dishes for everyone. They truly care about their customers! They are down to earth and have all the hospitality Virginia is all about! The Exxon has a gaming room for those who want to play as well. The staff at this location are community and customer oriented and care about cleanliness. I would recommend anyone to stop by and enjoy some bbq ANYTIME!!!

Wow! Stopped here on a random ride and had the best pulled pork sandwich of my life. The guy and his wife that run this place are super nice. Got the small pulled pork and a side of their hand cut fries. Truly amazing. The sandwich had a perfect level of smokyness, and tangyness from their house made bbq sauce. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. I will definately be back to try their brisket!!
